Starla and I took her 9 year old nephew Tyler to see the Nutcracker tonight. Tyler is our little buddy and he comes over every weekend now to go to church with us. It sure is nice to have a kid around, though it is challenging at times. Kind of a sneak peak- man kids can talk alot, I think they talk just to hear themselves talk. He really is a good kid though, a real joy to have around and he sure is my little buddy. Now, I digress, back to the Nutcracker, Tyler sure liked it however Starla and I- well it was neat and all but we discovered we are not ballet people. Next week we are going to see Miracle on 34th Street at the Barter Theater. We have been to a few plays together and really enjoy live plays.

Paperwork update- No news on the I171H. I contacted CCAI about our dossier and they said the review should be done first part of next week. I also asked about the weight rumors and they said that as of right now they have heard no official word from the CCAA. I tend to believe that CCAA hasn’t come down with any ruling on this, since CCAI is one of the largest chinese adoption agencies I would think that they would have been told about this. I am not concerned about it for now. They also did confirm that the wait time is going to be about 9-10 months. I really didn’t get into the reasons why this is happening I my opinion it really doesn’t matter why the time is extending, it just is and there is no control over it- no matter the reason.
