Today is 6 weeks, so it will be in the mailbox today right? I doubt it, even though they say 6 weeks they are taking longer, and especially since the holidays are here. I have been told by a couple people that the officer that signs the paperwork takes a couple weeks off this time of year and so Memphis grinds to a halt (like they weren’t slow enough). I think it is just stupid to have only 1 person doing this paperwork, apparently they have enough demand that they could have a second officer. I have seen people at Thanksgiving who got theirs after about 45 days.
I do have some concerns about lost paperwork, I have read several people who have said that USCIS has misplaced their fingerprints or homestudy. I think I will call them in the next couple days and make sure they haven’t lost our paperwork.
Regardless, it is another week down, each week brings us closer to our baby!!!
