DTC!!!

It’s official!!! I just got an email from our agency that we were DTC as of Friday!! Very exciting news. For those who do not know, DTC is the date that your dossier is sent to China. This means everything within our power and control is done and now we just wait on the Chinese government. Now there is one more step before the big countdown begins, that is when our dossier is officially logged into China (LID). That could take up to 8 weeks (average before the Chinese New Year break looked to be about 20 days). Moving right along!!!

Michael, I think you will most likely have a Feb. LID! Our DTC was Feb. 18 and LID Feb 26. Now that CNY is over they jump right in!

How adorable!!! She is so very cute.
CCAI is awesomely quick, I have been so very happy with them- can’t wait to download our DTC packet tonight!!
How long did it take for you to find out your LID after you were logged in?

humm I want to say a few weeks to find out our LID, maybe less. I don’t recall it being a very long time. My guess is your LID will be sooner than you think! You can’t imagine how much happiness these precious little girls will bring into your lives. My heart wants another…

Dave has decided it is indeed time to look into another adoption from China.
This time, he wants to put his preference down for an 18 yr. old with a good job, smart as a whip, and a love for old folks!
