We’re just hanging out

Nothing much going on really, but I do have some good news- I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico. Nah, not really, however after over 3 years on shift rotation I have been given a new shift at work. I am now working M-F 8-5. This really is good news, shift rotation is very hard physically and mentally. Maybe I will be able to get back in a routine and get some of my mind back.
I have been really busy on any time off I get doing work around the house. I guess I have shouldn’t have waited 3 years to start home projects, lol. Well it makes the time go faster and feels good to know the reason I am getting the house nice. This weekend I pressure washed the house and went to Lowes (unsupervised). I would have thought that my lovely wife would have learned to not let me go to Lowes by myself. Thursday we are having a big wood storage building installed and then I get to play painter and electrician.
