Ladybugs

Anyone in the adoption process knows that ladybug sightings are considered a sign of good luck in the adoption circles. I do not have good news for our sightings this year. Starla has not seen any ladybugs. I have seen 3 total. The first I came across and it was dead. The second one was alive and when I tried to catch it to show Starla it tried to attack me and then flew away. The third one I saw last weekend when I was sitting at a picnic table. I had been sitting there about 10 minutes and had looked at the table several times. I looked down again and out of nowhere there was another dead ladybug. These are not good signs and are following along with the way the process seems to be going. Oh well, maybe next year we will see more live ones as we get closer and the process stabilizes ![]()

I just wanted you to know that I have followed your site for several months now…I have lost track. We started the process of adopting Sianna in March of 2005…did not get logged in until June 6 of 2006. I feel your pain…everyday…every minute…every second. Your posts help me though…I love how you “put things”. I just wanted you to know that this week I have seen probably 10 lady bugs…all alive a kick’in. They just came out of no where. So I figure that was enough lady bugs for us to share! Thank you again for helping a stranger get through this…one day we will have them in our arms…we just have to hold on tightly to that. Our website is on http://www.myadoptionwebsite.com We are “Our Red Thread Journey”. Thanks again…your friend in Tennessee. ~Linda
