Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! We have made it nearly another year. It is true that this time last year we thought we would be home with our daughter (and clearly Buddy - our dog - wishes that we had her so we wouldn’t torment him as much).
I am just thankful that we are so blessed. It is great to see God working all around us, in nature, in his timing, in the gifts He gives us and others. No matter what your beliefs are there is one thing that is for certain, He is the reason for the Christmas season. His name is in the holiday. That is not to say that you have to be a Christian to celebrate Christmas, everyone around the world can celebrate the holiday, but all I am trying to say is that there would be no Christmas without Christ, all you would have is ‘mas.
As always, on these special days, I want to take a moment to say to Mikayla, know in your heart that we are coming for you. We know you are waiting for us and think about you and talk about you all the time. We will be there to get you as soon as is humanly possible.
