Here are some pictures from the CCAA at their new building. These were taken middle of this month. The above picture is the plaque that is on the new building. If you click on it and see the larger image you may notice something interesting. How do YOU spell adoption?
This picture is of some of the dossiers that are waiting in line to be matched with a child. Each one of those folders is the entire life story of a family (notarized, certified, and authenticated). The hopes and dreams of entire families rest in each of those folders and more importantly a baby will be going home to each one of those families one day. Funny, it looks like its just a folder with paper in it, hmmm. Our paperwork could be on that shelf somewhere.
This last picture is of the actual area where the children are matched with their forever families. That lady on the phone could be the one that matches us with Mikayla. Families are born in those cubicles. Those workers have such an awesome responsibility- I wonder if they TRULY know the impact of each and every one of their decisions.
