2 Days??

It looks like CCAA only matched 2 days worth of referrals this month- what a bummer. We will know more first of next week but all indications seem to say that most agencies only received matches through 10/26/05. Interestingly enough, last March they only referred 5 days, which was actually only 3 days if you take into account the weekend (the all time low until now). I wonder if there is something that slows March down, maybe having to do with ramping back up from CNY?
This really does suck though- 2 days is almost like a skipped month. I am still hopeful that we will see a referral this year, but who knows. Just when things seem to be becoming "predictable and normal" then this happens. Sometimes things just make you want to give up. This is really a hard pill this month because we just passed up a domestic newborn adoption last week because our home study worker said she would require 1 year between placement of the newborn and our Chinese adoption and we were not prepared to put our China adoption on hold, but looks like CCAA may have done that for us.
Here’s to hoping next month will be better….
