Huh, USCIS, huh?

Ok, when I was younger I got in some trouble. We were completely up front and provided a bunch of paperwork. The first time through our 171 we were approved, not a problem. Now all of a sudden they want paperwork, some of which would be difficult to get if I didn’t just happen to have copies. To make matters more complicated they are not very clear on what they want, I don’t think they know what they want. One of the items they said they want “something” from xxxx. Something? What am I suppose to get? Something? Jeez.
I don’t understand how they can approve somebody, then turn around and question what they originally did. I talked to our social worker tonight and she said “That doesn’t make any sense, they already approved the original homestudy, why would they be asking for that stuff now”. She figures they are just being picky; I think that is part of it but also partly because I asked our Congressman for help the first time because they were taking so long.
The silver lining here is that this is happening on the renewal, so I have time to get everything worked out without affecting our wait. As long as I can get it worked out, jeez.

Wonder why this doesn’t shock me like it should?! “Ms”. Officer Williams has gained herself quite a rep. in the TN adoption world.
One more day closer to Mikayla!

I sure remember her, guess she remembers me too. Some people just enjoy a power trip I guess.
