November 2005 done - Finally

It looks like finally we are through LID’s for November 2005, it took 5 months to get it done but it finally is. I knew it was going to take a long time to get through when they started on November.

Here is what concerns me though, this last batch was only 5 days (3 work days) and it doesn’t look like many referrals were sent out. I still think this points to a quota that China has on international adoption, and that maybe they have reached their quota for the year already. This leads me to believe that we may see an increase in January- if I remember right, China fiscal year starts in December which means that yearly quotas would start over. Hopefully they don’t reduce the quota for the 2008 fiscal year, at least keep it the same. There was also someone from the CCAA delegation earlier this year that said we would start seeing 2 weeks of LID’s per month again in 2008- is that because they knew the quota was almost reached and that it would start over again?

On a more positive note- only 8 days left until vacation!!!!! New York, here we come!
