2 Year Wait | Bringing Mikayla Home

2 Year Wait

The wait has officially hit a 2 year wait for those adopting from China. The CCAA has sent referrals to those parents whose dossiers were logged in through December 14, 2005. This means that those with a LID of 12/15/05 have now waited 2 years and there is  no sign of a speed up anytime soon, so the wait is going to continue to grow.

We have been waiting about 22 months now and are looking at a referral around the middle of 2008, which means our wait will be around 29 months. We are getting closer but it is still a long wait.

    Hi Guys! Just catching up on you and wanted to say Hello! I think its now officially safe to say this WILL be your last Christmas without Mikayla! You are in the home stretch! Hang in there!
