Two Year LID Anniversary

Today marks a big day in our wait for our daughter, our paperwork has been logged in to China for 2 years! 2 whole years! That is 24 months, the wait was only suppose to be 8-10 months, so it has already been about 3 times longer. When will we get our referral you ask? GREAT question, I wish I could answer that. If I had to guess right now, I would say another 7-9 months, but it could be longer. In guessing, I am figuring 7 days average per referral period and since it is 9 weeks between where referrals are now and our LID, I figure 9 months. Now in that time there is also a week period the CCAA was closed last year for Chinese New Year, and there is always the fact they could do a little more then 7 days per month- that is where I come up with 7 months. Guess time will tell.
Wish I could say we were going to celebrate tonight, but for some reason this doesn’t seem like a celebratory event.
