It looks like January 2006 LID’s are complete. Many agencies are reporting that CCAA internal website is showing January 31, 2006 as the cut off. This means that they only did 2 LID’s though (1/26 and 1/27, the rest are CNY days where CCAA was closed). We are not really sure why the CCAA put the cut off in the middle of CNY since they didn’t have any LID’s the other days. They have never done that before, for example, if they refer through a Friday, they show Friday as the cut off, not Sunday.

The important thing is that another month is complete (and that may be why they chose that date, to “complete” the month). Next month we will see referrals for February, our month. Now is the time that I am really mad that USCIS took forever with our paperwork in the beginning, a couple weeks can mean several months now.

On a lighter note, Starla told me she wants to start on the baby room now. I was actually wanting to wait until we actually saw LID’s in February but maybe we will start a little bit early. We still have other things to do to (clean closets, baby proof drawers/cabinets/dog) but maybe I will have to give in on this one. It has been hard to keep putting it off.
