Mom,

I just want you to know how much I love you and that I would shout it out from the top of a mountain to the whole world (this blog is the closest I can get to that). If it wasn’t for you I would not be who I am today, for you molded me into the person I am today, someone that you can be proud of. You have taught me about love, compassion, and chances.

I am sorry that I cannot be with you through some of hard hard times (you know what I am talking about) and hold your hand everytime you are in the hospital. It breaks my heart that I can’t run to your side when you need me, but life just hasn’t provided that for us… yet. Please stay strong and continue to fight, I need you as much now as I ever had and our daughter is going to need you too. I know that may be unfair to ask of you sometimes but you are needed more than you know.
