It is with great joy that we announce our referral.
Chen Jia Rong (Soon to be Mikayla Ruth)
Birthday: 3/28/07 (21 Months- nearly a teenager 
)
She is in Chenzhou CWI in Chenzhou, Hunan
Last month she was 29.5″ tall and 20.9 lbs. She is already walking holding on to stuff, enjoys music, and is energetic.
We are a little shocked by the age, we asked for AYAP but we are so happy. We can’t wait to go get her.

Congratulations!!! Our daughter is also from Chenzhou CWI. Your daughter is well taken care of there in Chenzhou. . We recently came home from China with my 21 month old sister and we adopted my three year old sister from China in December ‘06 and she is also from Chenzhou SWI. You know M + S there is an old Chinese Wives tale that the disposition of the child is reflected in the referral photograph. If the child is pouting and grumpy looking, then you will have a ‘grumpy’ child, if on the other hand the child is happy and smiling you will have a “happy baby”… I think you have a happy baby here!!! SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! We are thrilled for you. I know the age is a bit older than you expected, but as we both know God knows things we don’t!!

Thank you for all the kind words everyone. We can’t wait to share them with our daughter. She sure does look like a happy little girl. Her medicals all look good (Thanks Bill and Bonnie for the help). Seems like it has been a week since referral already but it has only been 48 hours.
