How exciting that we have another “Boldt” to add to the family tree. She will bring big changes to your life but God bless you for investing in her life. We will be praying for a quick adjustment for her in this strange land of ours. Grandma Boldt will be so pleased to hear that all your efforts to adopt finally paid off. Blessings!!!!!

Congratulations on your new Hunan referral!!! When you are ready to get her newspaper finding ad (which has a great picture of her months younger than her referral photos!) and other information on her orphanage, come visit us at http://www.research-china.org.
Have a speedy trip!!

Hi, Michael.
Our LID is 2/28/06 also.
I have just started blogging about our second adoption. I am sure your daughter will love reading about this experience by reading your blog…someday. I know our older daughter loves looking through our photos of our journey to China to bring her home. I hope we 2-28′ers will hear something in October. Maybe we will see you in China!
Good Luck, Brett

Michael,
We feel your frustration: our LID is Feb. 20, 2006. Kady’s room has been ready for her since Thanksgiving 2006. We were really optimistic. Our big wish is to have her home in time for Christmas ‘08. A friend from church gave us some new perspective this week. “Isn’t it great that there are so many children with people wanting to adopt them!” Hard to be mad/frustrated when you look at it that way!

HA! You are hired! “Killer” sometimes responds to pepper spray and it makes him more aggressive so stay clear of that… otherwise raw leftover meat from Kroger’s butcher shop is what he normally likes. Do you mind bringing the UZI automatic? That should work in the application…lol. Oh, nevermind, I think they have outlawed that now. Just whichever one that’s still legal you are most comfortable with will be ok. We have night vision goggles you can use for the evening patrol shift. Feel free to borrow a pair of Dave’s underwear if you want to sleep over.

Hello! So glad to be able to follow your journey to Mikayla! This journey of adoption is the greatest miracle I’ve ever witnessed. And, in every family it’s the same. Each baby is perfect for their family!! And yours will be no different. So glad you all are part of our local support group. Hope that 171 comes unusually quickly!!!
