Week 1:
Day 1 – Monday 2/16 – Leave local airport at 10:20am to JFK
Day 2 – Leave JFK for Hong Kong at 9:15a
Day 3 – Arrive HKG at 2:30p and check into the Regal Kowloon in Hong Kong
Day 4 – Chill out and adjust to time change – check out Hong Kong
Day 5 – Chill out some more in the morning – our CCAI guide will pick us up during the day and move us to the Regal HongKong on Hong Kong Island
Day 6 – Tour Hong Kong with our rep
Day 7 – Fly to Changsha, Hunan Province and check into the Dolton Hotel
Week 2:
Day 8 – Monday 2/23- GOTCHA DAY!
Day 9 – Adoption Registration- This is the day our adoption is official and Mikayla is a member of our family.
Day 10 – Trip to department store and free time.
Day 11 – Optional 1/2 day city tour of Changsha
Day 12 – Visit an Embroidery Factory and receive Mikayla’s passport
Day 13 – Fly to Guangzhou and check into the White Swan
Day 14 – Free time – Rest, Shop, Tour
Week 3:
Day 15 – Monday 3/2 – Physical exam and visa photo, prepare paperwork for consulate appointment
Day 16 – First part of consulate appointment
Day 17 – Swearing in ceremony at the US Consulate
Day 18 – Begin the trip home, fly from Guangzhou to Hong Kong and then to LAX. Leave Hong Kong at 4:30p and arrive in LAX at 1p on the same day. Stay the night at the LAX Hilton and visit with family
Day 19 – Friday 3/6 – Return home. Leave LAX at 11:45a and arrive at our local airport at 9:20p

Day 20 through the next 6 months, attempt to recover from trip.
